How to remove the front fender and rear fender of the Kawasaki Ninja 400

Tools required:

10mm socket
5mm allen/hex
*a pick tool makes unplugging connectors much easier

Front Fender

Remove reflector by unscrewing it from the threaded stud. Then remove the stud with a 10mm socket.

Remove the bolts located behind the forks

After Bolts have been removed lift and pull out the front fender

You have now successfully removed the front fender.

Rear Fender

First remove the rear seat using the key.

Then pull up on the rear tab on the storage tray under the seat:

Unplug the turn signals, tail light, and license plate light wires:

Remove the 4 bolts holding the rear fender:

Once all four bolts and wires have been removed the rear fender will come right off.
