Description

The Norton Racing / AP MotoArts Racing Rear Shock Link is the culmination of years of development by Andy Palmer and manufactured and updated by Norton Racing to bring you the pinnacle of performance for your Yamaha R7 for track use.  Often imitated, the AP MotoArts designed link transforms the MT-07 / R7 chassis from a fun street bike to a race worthy performance machine by increasing the swingarm angle, altering the progression ratio of the shock, and allowing fitment of high performance race shocks.  We used our slightly modified Ohlins TTX TR469 Shock with this linkage, available separately.

We recommend the following shocks for use with this linkage:
K-Tech Suspension DDS Lite Rear Shock

K-Tech Suspension DDS Pro Rear Shock

TTX TR469 Shock

*We recommend re-using your high quality OEM bearings from the OEM linkage with this link kit.

*Depending on what shock you use, you may have to modify the subframe and remove a small cross brace above the shock for clearance as the shock moves through it’s travel range.
