Description
The 2018-19 Ninja 400 clutches suffered from a clearance issue that would cause interference between the OEM clutch pull rod, the input shaft, and the pressure plate bearing after only about .015″ of clutch wear. Combined with minimal friction material to start with and weak clutch springs, this is a big part of the issue with Ninja 400 clutches wearing out and slipping after only 500-1500 miles. Kawasaki solved part of the problem with 2020+ model year bikes by changing the Pull Rod and Bearing to increase clearance by 1mm. Upgrade your 2018-2019 Kawasaki Ninja 400 with the 2020+ OEM Pull Rod and Bearing along with Barnett Heavy Duty Clutch Springs and Plates and our Cable Spring Kit to eliminate the clutch slipping problem with your bike.
